The EXIF tool is the one people underestimate. A photo straight off a phone can carry the exact coordinates where it was taken, the device serial and the timestamp, and most social platforms strip that only after it has reached their servers. Removing it locally means it never leaves.

Does compressing an image lose quality?

JPEG and WebP compression is lossy by nature, so some detail is always discarded. The compressor lets you set a target size or a quality level and shows the result, so you can judge the trade for yourself rather than accepting a fixed preset.
What does the EXIF remover actually strip?

It removes the metadata block, which typically holds GPS coordinates, camera make and model, lens, exposure settings and the original timestamp. The visible pixels are untouched.
Can the background remover handle a photo with a complex background?

It works by chroma key, so it is reliable on flat colors and green screens and much less so on a busy background. For a cluttered scene, a model based remover will do better than a color key.
