One address, read by a person. There is no ticketing system, no chatbot and no contact form that quietly drops what you wrote.

hello@zap.tools

Expect a reply within a few working days. This is a small project, not a support desk.

What is worth writing about

  • A tool gave the wrong answer. The most useful thing you can send. Include the inputs you used and the result you expected, and where a code calculator is involved, the table or section you checked it against. Calculation bugs get fixed first.
  • A tool is missing. Say what you are trying to do rather than what tool you want, since the underlying job usually suggests a better design than the name does.
  • A privacy question. Most tools here never send your data anywhere, and the few that fetch a public URL do so through one audited proxy that logs nothing. If something looks like it contradicts that, it is worth telling us about.
  • Anything else. Corrections to the writing, broken links, accessibility problems, or a question about how a calculator arrives at its result.

What we cannot help with

We cannot recover a password you have forgotten, unlock a document you do not have the password for, or advise on whether a calculation satisfies your local code. The engineering calculators are sizing aids for design work, and a qualified person with the current code book has to sign off the result.
