What is in Finance Tools
Calculators for the money questions people run before a decision rather than after: what a mortgage costs each month once tax, insurance and PMI are in it, what a loan really costs over its life, what a full amortization schedule looks like month by month, how compound interest and regular contributions grow, what a SIP matures to, what margin or markup a price implies, what a discount comes to, and what a currency is worth today.
The amortization schedule is the one that changes minds. Seeing the split between interest and principal on every single payment, and how slowly that split moves in the early years, tells you more about a loan than the headline rate does.
None of it is advice, and none of the figures you enter are transmitted. Loan amounts, rates and balances stay on your device.
The margin calculator is worth knowing for one reason: margin and markup are not the same number, and confusing them is how a business prices itself into a loss. A 50 percent markup is a 33 percent margin, and the tool shows both.
Common questions
Is this financial advice?
+
No. These are arithmetic tools. They show what a set of numbers implies under the assumptions you enter, and they cannot know your circumstances, your tax position or what a lender will actually offer you. Treat the output as a way to compare options, not as a recommendation.
Where do the exchange rates come from?
+
From a public rates feed updated daily, covering more than 160 currencies. Daily rates are fine for estimating and comparing; they are not the rate you will be given for an actual transaction, which includes a spread.
Does the mortgage calculator include tax and insurance?
+
Yes. It computes the full PITI payment with property tax, home insurance and PMI, and shows how much of each monthly payment goes to each part, which is usually the number people are missing.
